Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small text files that sites store on your device. Local storage is a similar technology that keeps information in the browser without sending it with every request.

This policy explains what this site uses and how you can control it.

What this site uses

Preferences, essential category: we store your answer to the cookie notice in the browser's local storage under the key auxf-cookie-choice. Without it the notice would reappear on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser data.

Hosting logs: the server records the IP address and the request made, for security and troubleshooting. No identifier is used for advertising.

Payment: when you proceed to pay you are taken to a Stripe domain, which uses its own cookies needed for transaction security and fraud prevention. Those cookies are set by Stripe on its domain under its own privacy policy.

Analytics and marketing cookies

The site currently uses no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and shares no browsing data with ad platforms.

If any are introduced, they will only be set after you accept in the cookie notice, and this page will be updated with the name, purpose and lifetime of each one.

Fonts and external resources

Fonts and every other file used by the pages are served from this site. No requests are made to third-party servers during normal browsing, so your IP address is not shared with them.

How to control it

Accept or reject in the notice shown on your first visit.

Change your mind at any time using the Manage cookies link in the footer of any page.

You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's privacy settings. Blocking essential items may prevent checkout from completing.
